Mizu Shingen Mochi Recipe 水信玄餅 ぷるるん

Mizu Shingen Mochi Recipe

*Ingredients*

  • Water
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Agar
  • Brown Sugar Syrup (kokumitsu)
  • Soybean Flour (kinako)


*Recipe*

  1. Put 12g granulated sugar and 15g agar in a pot, and mix.
  2. Add 500cc water little by little, and mix. Repeat it.This is important because agar does not melt easily.
  3. Melt agar completely with the boiling hot water. 
  4. Pour it into the sphere mold.
  5. Chill it in a refrigerator.
  6. Take out from the model after hardened and put brown sugar syrup and soybean flour. 
  7. Please eat while feeling the Force.

Flareon: fireball whiskey, peach schnapps, iced tea, lemonade, dash of strawberry syrup (for color)
Espeon: strawberry vodka, Hpnotiq Harmonie, Chambord, cranberry juice, Sprite
Umbreon: bourbon, coke, lemon juice, orange juice
Glaceon: rum, blue curacao, peppermint schnapps, lemonade, soda water, sugar on the rim
Leafeon: tequila, peach schnapps, lime juice, ginger ale, mint, honey and a drop of chocolate syrup for decoration

Better-than-Starbucks Vegan Green Tea Latte.

Vegan Green Tea Latte

Ingredients:

2 scoops matcha green tea powder

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 packet stevia, if desired

Instructions:

Warm milk on stove top until it is almost boiling. Place the matcha powder and stevia in the warmed milk. Whisk thoroughly to get rid of any chunks of powder and enjoy!

Creamy Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 10 sprigs thyme, tied together
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 28-ounce cans whole tomatoes
  • 1–2 teaspoons sugar, divided
  • 1/4 cup (or more) heavy cream
  • Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  • Melt butter in a large heavy pot over medium heat. Add thyme, onion, and garlic. Cook until onion is completely soft and translucent, 10–12 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high; add tomato paste. Continue cooking, stirring often, until paste has begun to caramelize in spots, 5–6 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes with juices, 1 tsp. sugar, and 8 cups water to pot. Increase heat to high; bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer until flavors meld and soup reduces to about 2 quarts (8 cups), 45–55 minutes. Remove soup from heat; let cool slightly. Discard thyme sprigs. Working in small batches, purée soup in a blender until smooth. Return to pot. DO AHEAD Soup can be made 2 days ahead. Let cool slightly, cover, and chill. Rewarm before continuing.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup cream. Simmer soup until flavors meld, 10–15 minutes longer. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and remaining 1 tsp. sugar. Add more cream, if desired.
