Apparently some vegans are telling people not to eat honey to support bees.

Buy honey (local if possible) -> support beekeepers -> support bees.

I swear people don’t even think this stuff out.
Beekeepers provide bees with an environment in which they can live, and are encouraged to thrive. Bees then have a big huge giant person who can deal with any threats to the hive.
Yes, honey is a winter food supply for bees, but beekeepers (unless they’re dicks, in which case they’d be shooting themselves in the foot) will NEVER take too much honey from a hive, and will always ensure that bees have enough food. Think about it, you’re not going to starve a source of income/hobby, are you?

So now.
Support beekeepers.
Support bees.

I think a few ppl took Bee Movie too seriously.

You can take as much honey from a hive as you like, as long as you supply the bees with another food source, this is usually a sugar syrup, which the bees like as much (if not more) than honey.

I understand if people take The Lorax seriously, but the Bee Movie? I mean at the end of the movie they learnt that it's totally ok to buy and use honey, and that the bees need to do their work to keep living after all.

Meet ‘Sweetie,’ a virtual girl created to target child predators

Children’s rights group Terre des Homme creates a computer-generated 10-year-old girl in hopes of nabbing adults willing to pay for a child’s Webcam sex performance.

They thought they were chatting online with a 10-year-old girl in the Philippines. In truth, they were talking to an incredibly realistic-looking computer-generated child. Now that fake girl could help authorities identify very real child predators.

Perverts are directing porn films, live, with girls as young as 6 on the other side of the world. So far they’ve got away with it, leaving the girls struggling to recover from the horror, but if enough of us act today, we can stop this new abuse of the internet.

An estimated 750,000 pedophiles are online, but only six men have so far been convicted of paying young people to perform sex acts in front of webcams. Incredible investigative research has lifted the lid on this emerging vile practice, and shown the devastating psychological trauma it inflicts on young minds.

The research and media attention won’t be enough. But if we now call on police and child protection authorities to crack down on the webcam predators, we can ensure that people trying this know they may be caught. Stand with the young victims, to prevent more of them.

Help to stop webcam child sex tourism and protect the kids behind the cams. Proactive investigation is the only way to catch these men. With your signature and the research, we can pressure all national governments to act.

Sign the Petition now.
