naked fruit

i feel like i wasn’t supposed to see this

I hate seeing nudes on my dashboard.

It’s funny how when we see the banana peeled it’s not weird. But everyone gets freaked out when the big round things are exposed.

I'm not freaking out the slightest bit about the longans/lychees being peeled off tbh

the fact that there’s only about 5000 people who’ve reposted this scares me. That means that less that 5000 people know where these come from.

I feel old…

very odd

literally every person on earth has read the very hungry caterpillar

Literally everyone.

I am 18.. What is the very hungry caterpillar?

are you joking

I’m 18 and it’s literally the staple of my childhood

Fact: not everyone in every corner of the world was able to grow up reading The Hungry Caterpillar.

Emily Blincoe: Color-coded photography

We’ve already featured talented Austin-based photographer Emily Blincoea couple of times on iGNANT. Her output is amazingly creative and never fails to make us smile. Emily is probably best known for her color-coded arrangements.

For her latest works she collected color permutation of tomatoes, oranges, eggs, ice cream and leaves and sorted them into groups and gradients for each image

Single Tree Grows 40 Kinds Of Fruit

In an ongoing series on hybridizing fruit trees, Syracuse University sculptor Sam Van Aken’s Tree of 40 Fruit is true to its name. Most of the year, it looks pretty ordinary, but in the spring, the tree blossoms display various tones of pink, crimson, and white. Then, from July through October, it bears 40 different types of stone fruit, including almonds, apricots, cherries, nectarines, peaches, and plums.

The feat is accomplished by grafting together several different varieties, including native fruit, heirlooms, and antiques, some of which are centuries-old, Aken tells Epicurious

Flavored Lemonades

I absolutely LOVE lemonades and fresh fruit.  I went to this wonderful cafe, Ms. Dahlia’s Cafe, with one of my best friends in Brooklyn.  I had the best cucumber lemonade in life!  I immediately went on the hunt to find a recipe.  in my search, I came across a great blog, A Beautiful Mess, that has some amazing recipes for lemonades.  I had to share.  So here you go, enjoy, and I WILL POST MY OWN CREATIONS…after the snow melts.
