What do teens like?!? Is it memes? Memes about skeletons? Piss? Communism?

this post is 20x funnier if you imagine a CEO shouting it at his board of directors

doctor who has signed on the third female director of the moffat era

that’s one more female director than davies had, even if the moffat era has one less female writer than the davies era did

basically can we stop with this “moffat hates women” bullshit…

In all honesty…does it really matter if it’s a man or a woman directing?

Moffat still can’t write for Dr.Who so it’s kind of a moot point. Maybe instead, he could get decent co-writers and directors regardless of sex and instead base it on skill.

Then…maybe…if we’re lucky…the next season won’t suck.

So you want better writers… than Steven Moffat, Neil Gaiman, Neil Cross, Gareth Roberts, and usually Toby Whithouse and Chris Chibnall?

Homie, I’m gonna be straight up with you. You are looking for a unicorn. For the Loch Ness Monster. For Bigfoot. You are looking for something with such impossibly high standards that you will never be satisfied.

But anyway, I’m glad that you think your own personal opinions about the show are more important than getting more women in a primarily male-dominated field. It’s really helpful and important.

Look. Gaiman and Gatiss, they are amazing writers. The episodes they wrote were amazing. Chibnall was great. Whithouse was okay.

Moffat is…Moffat. The only 2 episodes he wrote that were on Dr.Who standards was the 50th, and ‘The Big Bang’. Of course, that’s just my opinion. Oh, and Blink. Almost forgot about that. (But then he ended up over-using the Weeping Angels so…all good things must come to an end)

Better writing isn’t a myth. Just look at say…Davies episodes? Tom MacRae? Helen Raynor? Gareth Roberts?

I don’t care if it’s a female writing it or a dude. If the person doing the hard work behind the scenes is good at what they do, then I am excited and happy for them. I will support them all the way. If they can’t do the job well, then I’m not going to be all ‘hip, hip, hurray’. Sorry.

I feel like this got off topic though. -.-

Yh, this got way off topic.

Whether or not you like Steven Moffat is irrelevant. I personally think that pretty much all Doctor Who episodes are “Dr.Who” standards and Helen Raynor and Gareth Roberts are not really the best examples of this. (Davies on a good day is).

But that’s irrelevent, the point is

People have been complaining that not enough women are being hired in Doctor Who.

For some reason people have decided that this only became a problem when Moffat’s tenure began and he therefore hates women.

A woman has now been hired to direct two episodes.

So clearly (if we’re going to ignore the hundreds of pro-woman things he has said and done) this is proof that those criticisms are wrong and he doesn’t hate women.

Personal opinion and interpretation of his episodes is completely irrelevant to this particular subject.
