Remember the tumblr post with the student coming in late n the teacher excusing them cuz they told him that one does not simply listen to Bohemian Rhapsody n NOT sing along?
This got me inspired to think a storyline for typical awesome teacher characters. I'm not sure if the teacher actually is like this in real life, but i imagine him being that cool teacher that can connect n mingle with his students. What if he believes that he has a heart of a teenager, and he only taught them cuz he's older and knows more, but he still can joke like students cuz he's into their interests?
If theres an interview with his students, probably one girl would say that he's watched movies like Hunger Games, another girl says tv series like Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, and one guy at the back said the teacher played Minecraft n GTA V with his gamer students (and made a pretty fort for one girl who played minecraft, and helped another minecraft player, a guy, build aerial art with meme references.)
One day when class finished early n he had nothing more to teach he brought a projector n watched the last epidode of Doctor Who with the 11th doctor in it, cuz the whole class are whovians.
During the Doctor's parting, everyone in the class cried, or at least shed one tear. The girls are already boohoo-ing n blowing their noses with tissues, n the boys wiped their noses with sleeves, and the teacher... well he just stared at the screen silently n letting tears flow down his cheeks without making a sound. Hes absorbing a lot of feels.
After the episode is over, he wiped his tears away with a hankie, stood up n asked his students "anyone want a hug? I know I do..." n all his students swarm him n form a pile of big hug.
Sadly this might all sound too good to be true.
